Threatening to Kill

1. Any person who threatens to kill another person, where there is a basis for the threatened person to fear that the threat will be carried out, shall be subject to non-custodial reform for up to 03 years or imprisonment from 06 months to 03 years.

2. The offense shall be punishable by 02 to 07 years’ imprisonment if committed under any of the following circumstances:

a) Against two or more persons;

b) By abusing one’s position or authority;

c) Against a person performing official duties, or in connection with the victim’s official duties;

d) Against a person under 16 years of age;

đ) To conceal or evade liability for another criminal offense.
