Crime of Forging Documents in Securities Offering and Listing Dossiers
1. Any person who forges documents in securities offering or listing dossiers to gain illicit profits from VND 1,000,000,000 to under VND 2,000,000,000 or causes damage to investors from VND 1,500,000,000 to under VND 3,000,000,000, shall be subject to a fine of VND 500,000,000 to VND 2,000,000,000 or imprisonment from 06 months to 03 years.
2. The offender shall be subject to a fine of VND 2,000,000,000 to VND 5,000,000,000 or imprisonment from 02 years to 07 years if the crime falls under any of the following circumstances:
a) Illicit profits of VND 2,000,000,000 or more;
b) Causing damage to investors of VND 3,000,000,000 or more;
c) Committed in an organized manner;
d) Dangerous recidivism.
3. The offender may also be subject to a fine of VND 50,000,000 to VND 250,000,000, prohibition from holding certain positions, practicing certain professions, or performing certain jobs for 01 year to 05 years.
