
Civil Servant Ranks and Classification of Civil Servant Ranks

Civil servant ranks are arranged in order of professional and occupational hierarchy, including:
a) Senior Expert;
b) Principal Expert and equivalent;
c) Senior Officer and equivalent;
d) Officer and equivalent;
dd) Associate Officer and equivalent;
e) Staff. -
The classification of civil servant ranks corresponding to job positions shall be carried out in the following cases:
a) A person is recruited into a job position;
b) A civil servant is appointed to a leadership or managerial position or is assigned to a job position where such position is classified under a civil servant rank different from the one currently held. -
The classification of civil servant ranks must ensure consistency with the proportion of civil servants required for each job position in the agency employing civil servants, in accordance with regulations of the Government.
