Cargo Transport Contract, Cargo Delivery Note, and Waybill

1. Cargo Transport Contract
A cargo transport contract is an agreement between the transport service provider and the transport service user, which defines the rights and obligations of both parties. The contract may be made in writing or in other forms agreed upon by the parties.

2. Cargo Delivery Note
A cargo delivery note is part of the transport contract, prepared by the transport service user and submitted to the transport service provider before delivering the goods. The delivery note may cover the entire cargo shipment or be issued for each trip, as agreed in the contract.

The cargo delivery note must clearly state: the type of goods; the symbol or code of the goods; the quantity and weight of the goods; the delivery and receipt locations; the name and address of the consignor; the name and address of the consignee; and any special requirements for loading, unloading, or transporting the goods.

3. Waybill
A waybill is a document of cargo receipt and delivery between the transport service provider and the transport service user, serving as evidence for dispute resolution.

The waybill is issued by the transport service provider after the goods have been loaded onto the transport vehicle and must be signed by the transport service user or their authorized representative.

The waybill must clearly state: the type of goods; the symbol or code of the goods; the quantity and weight of the goods; the delivery and receipt locations; the name and address of the consignor and consignee; the transport fee and any additional costs; other details agreed upon by the transport service provider and the transport service user; and the confirmation by the transport service provider regarding the condition of the goods received for transport.
