DETAILED CONTENT OF THE LABOR SUPPLY CONTRACT FOR INDUSTRIES, OCCUPATIONS, AND JOBS IN THE EUROPEAN AND OCEANIAN MARKETS
(Enclosed with Circular No. 02/2024/TT-BLĐTBXH dated February 23, 2024, of the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs)

A. Europe

  1. Term of the labor contract
    – Minimum of 06 months.

  2. Occupational safety and hygiene
    – The employer must organize occupational safety and hygiene training; provide free and adequate work equipment and personal protective equipment appropriate to the industry, occupation, and job of the worker; and ensure a safe and hygienic workplace.

  3. Wages, salaries, other benefits and bonuses (if any); overtime pay; deductions from wages
    – For labor contracts of 01 year or more: Basic salary of at least USD 600/month; in cases where the host country prescribes a minimum wage higher than USD 600/month, the regulations of the host country shall apply.
    – For labor contracts from 06 months to less than 01 year: Basic salary of at least USD 800/month; in cases where the host country prescribes a minimum wage higher than USD 800/month, the regulations of the host country shall apply.

    – Overtime pay shall be in accordance with the regulations of the host country.

  4. Accommodation, living conditions, and commuting between accommodation and workplace
    – The employer shall provide free accommodation and kitchen facilities, except in cases where the worker’s basic salary is at least USD 1,200/month for contracts of 06 months to less than 01 year, or at least USD 900/month for contracts of 01 year or more.

  5. Responsibility for covering travel expenses between Vietnam and the workplace
    – The overseas employer shall cover at least a one-way airfare from Vietnam to the workplace or from the workplace to Vietnam upon completion of the contract.


B. Oceania

  1. Term of the labor contract
    – Minimum of 06 months.

  2. Occupational safety and hygiene
    – The employer must organize occupational safety and hygiene training; provide free and adequate work equipment and personal protective equipment appropriate to the industry, occupation, and job of the worker; and ensure a safe and hygienic workplace.

  3. Wages, salaries, other benefits and bonuses (if any); overtime pay; deductions from wages
    – The worker’s basic salary shall not be lower than the minimum wage prescribed by the host country.
    – Overtime pay shall be in accordance with the regulations of the host country.

  4. Accommodation, living conditions, and commuting between accommodation and workplace
    – The employer shall provide accommodation.
    – The employer shall arrange transportation between accommodation and the workplace.

  5. Responsibility for covering travel expenses between Vietnam and the workplace
    – For workers in the agricultural sector: The employer shall cover at least AUD 300 for airfare from Vietnam to the workplace.
