
DETAILED CONTENTS OF THE LABOUR SUPPLY CONTRACT FOR SECTORS, PROFESSIONS, AND JOBS IN THE JAPANESE MARKET

I. Workers participating in internship and employment under the Technical Intern Training Program (TITP)

Occupational safety and hygiene: The employer must provide training on occupational safety and hygiene; provide free and adequate work equipment and personal protective gear suitable for the intern’s sector, profession, and job; and ensure a safe and hygienic workplace.

Conditions for accommodation, living, commuting between residence and workplace:
– During the concentrated training period in Japan, interns shall be provided with free accommodation; with a minimum allowance of JPY 50,000/month, or JPY 30,000/month in cases where free meals are provided.
– During the technical internship period, interns shall be provided with suitable accommodation; if the intern must pay for accommodation, the monthly payment shall not exceed 15% of the basic salary.
– The foreign receiving party shall provide free transportation between residence and workplace or reimburse such costs to the intern. -
Service fees paid by the foreign receiving party:
– Service fees paid by the foreign receiving party are management fees paid to the service enterprise.
– The foreign receiving party shall pay the service enterprise at least JPY 10,000/person/month for interns in caregiving, and at least JPY 5,000/person/month for interns in other sectors for the management of interns.
– Method: bank transfer to the account of the service enterprise. -
Responsibility for travel expenses from Viet Nam to the workplace and vice versa: The foreign receiving party shall pay for a round-trip airfare from Viet Nam to the workplace in Japan and vice versa upon completion of the contract by the intern.

Other agreements not contrary to law and social ethics:
– For caregiving interns: The foreign receiving party shall pay the full cost of entrusted training and Japanese language training up to level N4, with a minimum of JPY 100,000/person.
– For interns in other sectors: The foreign receiving party shall pay entrusted training costs of at least JPY 15,000/person (160 hours).
– Method: bank transfer to the account of the service enterprise.
II. Workers under the Specified Skilled Worker Program

Occupational safety and hygiene: The employer must provide training on occupational safety and hygiene; provide free and adequate work equipment and personal protective gear suitable for the worker’s sector, profession, and job; and ensure a safe and hygienic workplace.

Service fees paid by the foreign receiving party:
– Service fees paid by the foreign receiving party are dispatch fees paid to the service enterprise.
– The foreign receiving party shall pay the service enterprise dispatch fees of at least one month’s basic salary per contract per worker.
– Method: bank transfer to the account of the service enterprise. -
Responsibility for travel expenses from Viet Nam to the workplace and vice versa: The foreign receiving party shall pay for airfare from Viet Nam to the workplace for the worker.

Other agreements not contrary to law and social ethics:
– The foreign receiving party shall pay training costs for workers to meet Japanese requirements, including at least JPY 50,000/person for language training and JPY 50,000/person for vocational skills training.
– Method: the foreign receiving party shall transfer the amount to the account of the service enterprise.
III. Workers under the Engineer and Specialist Program

Occupational safety and hygiene: The employer must provide training on occupational safety and hygiene; provide free and adequate work equipment and personal protective gear suitable for the worker’s sector, profession, and job; and ensure a safe and hygienic workplace.
