DETAILED CONTENTS OF THE LABOUR SUPPLY CONTRACT FOR SECTORS, PROFESSIONS, AND JOBS IN THE AMERICAN MARKET

1 Term of the labour contract:  Minimum 06 months.
2 Occupational safety and hygiene The employer must provide training on occupational safety and hygiene; provide free and adequate work equipment and personal protective gear suitable for the worker’s sector, profession, and job; and ensure a safe and hygienic workplace.
3 Wages, salaries, other benefits and bonuses (if any); overtime pay; deductions from wages: –  For labour contracts of 01 year or more: Basic salary of at least USD 500/month; where the host country prescribes a minimum wage higher than USD 500/month, the regulation of the host country shall apply.

– For labour contracts from 06 months to less than 01 year: Basic salary of at least USD 800/month; where the host country prescribes a minimum wage higher than USD 800/month, the regulation of the host country shall apply.

– Overtime pay shall follow the regulations of the host country.

4. Conditions for accommodation, living, commuting between residence and workplace:  The employer shall provide free accommodation and kitchen equipment, except where the worker’s basic salary is USD 1,200/month or more for contracts from 06 months to less than 01 year, or USD 750/month or more for contracts of 01 year or more.
5. Responsibility for travel expenses from Viet Nam to the workplace and vice versa: The foreign receiving party shall cover at least one airfare from Viet Nam to the workplace or from the workplace back to Viet Nam upon completion of the contract by the worker.
