Preferential Loan Amount through the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies for Social Housing Development
The loan amount levels are prescribed in Article 48 of Decree No. 100/2024/NĐ-CP as follows:
a) In the case of purchasing or lease-purchasing social housing, the maximum loan amount shall be up to 80% of the value of the housing purchase or lease-purchase contract;
b) In the case of new construction, renovation, or repair of housing, the maximum loan amount shall be up to 70% of the estimated cost or capital use plan, but not exceeding VND 1 billion, based on the construction investment unit cost and housing construction price norms issued by competent authorities, and not exceeding 70% of the value of the collateral for the loan.
